Position Description
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate professional who is responsible for aiding and supporting the orthodontist in achieving success in patient care. This person's primary focus will be with our patient's debonds but also must be willing to perform a variety of orthodontic clinical duties under the direction of Dr. Gleich, in order to achieve the best possible treatment outcome and comfort for the patient. This is a PT position that could be tailored based on the needs of the right candidate. Our office is open 2 days each week (Monday & Wednesday) in Mason City, IA.

Our ideal candidate is someone with a “can-do” attitude, who is adaptable and quick to learn new skills and systems. Clinical duties would include direct patient care, taking quality orthodontic records including radiographs & photographs, the organization of supplies, sterilization and infection control, basic lab work, and cleaning.

Additional duties would include, but not be limited to reception desk coverage and assistance to our front desk team when needed; entering transactions and utilizing computerized charting. Applicants must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and have the ability to perform all physical and verbal duties of the position.

Salary is competitive and based on experience.

Qualifications:
Required Education & Credentials

  • Active Dental Hygienist (RDH) license (Iowa and/or MN)
  • Current BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $31,600.00 per year

Expected hours: 8 – 20 per week
