Author Visit: Michelle Murray

You have seen her on our community theatre stage, behind a vintage ice cream counter, and many more places in our city. She is now behind a writer's pen!
Come to the library on Saturday, May 10th, at 1:00 p.m. to meet local author, Michelle Murray!
Her book is titled "Amazing Iowa" and contains 80 stories about Iowa firsts, famous Iowa people, curiosities and oddities, sports vignettes and dark tales...and a plethora of pictures besides.
Whether you're a native, a recent resident, or just passing through, these stories of the weird, wild, and wonderful people and places of the great state of Iowa are waiting for you. Take a peek inside and you'll find people you've heard about in the news...as well as those you should have heard about.
